Jorge Ballarena is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ballarena Group. After leading Ballarena Construction to become one of the leaders in general contracting in South Florida, he began acquiring real estate assets throughout Florida and founded the company in 2010. Today, he is involved with all aspects of the development process including identifying new opportunities, underwriting parameters, project design, construction and plays a key role in investor relations. Graduating from Argentina’s top university, Jorge’s unique stylistic approach has created opportunities with some of the city’s biggest institutions.
Gaston Pedretti is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives, company’s sales, and marketing strategy. He works closely with our CEO establishing sales tactics and business opportunities that support the CEO’s long-term vision for the company and assists our organization on daily operations.
Gaston worked for NESTLE (#1 Food Corporation), as Marketing and Head of Sales positions over 12 year; analyzing market trends, identifying areas for improvement and succeeding sale objectives. After Nestle, he was hired as Director for COMERCIAL TUCSON S.A. (Tiles, Marble and Flooring #1 trader company in Argentina), developing different businesses strategies and expanding the Company nationwide. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree on Marketing & Business Administration.
As Vice-President of Development for Ballarena Group, Sabrina Escobar oversees all items related to development operations. She is responsible for overseeing the due diligence, entitlement and permitting process as well as supervising the design and development teams. Her involvement continues through the construction phase, supporting and guiding the construction team to ensure success at all levels. Sabrina’s background is in both Development and Construction sectors. At Related Group she worked on multifamily and mixed-use development projects throughout Florida. Specializing in the acquisition and sale of multifamily properties, she has helped investors reach, and often exceed, their short-term and long-term investment objectives. Sabrina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Construction Management
Aned Madan joined Ballarena Construction in 2006 as Controller. Since then, she has provided strategic financial leadership to both Ballarena Construction and Ballarena Group. She brings 20 years combined experience in Management and Financial Accounting and oversees all Ballarena’s financial controls, risk management, and accounting areas. As part of the corporate management and leadership team, Aned implements Ballarena’s financial strategic planning decisions and provides executive leadership to the accounting areas in support of the long-term goals of the company. Prior to joining Ballarena, Aned served as controller for a development firm. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and is a licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida.
Ines Tineo is responsible for creating the overall strategies of the International Division at Ballarena Group. She is currently Director of Planning and Control, expanding Ballarena’s network in Latin America. Her primary goal is to provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to lead the Latin America region. As a Latina, her objective is to bring value with her work to Latin American countries by improving their quality of life and supporting women’s empowerment initiatives so that change can be influenced, and all women can benefit equally.
Juan Acevedo, the Project Manager at Ballarena Group, is dedicated to ensuring the flawless execution of our projects. His responsibilities encompass overseeing every phase, from land acquisition to project design, construction document preparation, and building. He adeptly manages consultants, vendors, and navigates complex government procedures to streamline project progress.
Juan holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The University of Los Andes, complemented by a master’s degree in project management in the Interamerican University of Panama. With over 9 years of experience in the construction industry, his journey began as an Assistant Superintendent, where he contributed to the successful completion of the world’s highest and second-largest cable car system in his hometown of Merida.
In the Republic of Panama, Juan served as a Project Manager for four years, playing pivotal roles in the construction of the second terminal at Tocumen International Airport and the development of Line 2 of the Panama City Metrorail system, specifically overseeing the installation of the Metal Ceiling System. Subsequently, at Nova Design Builders in South Florida, Juan continued to excel in project management, dedicating two years to various residential and commercial construction and remodeling endeavors. His diverse experiences and educational background make him an invaluable asset to the Ballarena Group’s commitment to delivering exceptional projects.
